The Parkhotel Villa Nizza has been built on the foundation walls of a villa in renaissance stile, enlarged and modernized in several periods. The coloured stone floor of the small lounge, the stairs in marble of Carrara going up to the first floor, the reliefs outside and many furniture items are testimonies of this era. It is set in a tropical park with hundred of palm trees (nearly 6000m2), solar heated swimming pool, whirlpool, sun terrace, deck chairs, ping-pong, baby foot and separate playground for children and fitness circuit.

The Parkhotel Villa Nizza is a little paradise in slightly elevated position near the wood of mount San Salvatore, at a few minutes walk from the lake and the public transportations. The view over the bay of Lugano and the surrounding area is spectacular. It is accessible only via a private road.

There are different room categories, for families communicating rooms, all with bath/WC or shower/WC, direct telephone, radio and safe; many have mini bar and balcony. The comfortable lounges, the cosy dining-room and the Panorama Bar offer an elegant and peaceful atmosphere. The mediterranean vegetation, the singing birds, the warm ambiance, the kindness of the proprietors and their staff will make your stay unforgettable. All infrastructure, also the small fitness room, the parking, the weekly cocktail party and farmer’s breakfast are included in the rates. What else could one ask for?

How to find us:
By train: from the main station of Lugano to the hotel there are 10 driving minutes by taxi or changing into a regional train to Lugano-Paradiso (one stop) and walking up the hill for 6 minutes ca.
By car: Exit highway LUGANO SUD (south) after the McDonalds turn up to your right till the STOP and there turn down to your left (ca. 200 meters) in direction Lugano and Paradiso.
